7 Ways to Prep your Life Style this Year
10:44:00, by Erika A.
The New Year has just arrived and we all have plans, resolutions and many tasks in our mind, which we want to achieve. So we all know planning is the key to implement anything we want in life.
Fantacizing
about our goals for the new year to come isn’t enough if our laziness steps
into the way. Now that we are in 2016 we have to promise ourselves to kill the
laziness: this way half of the battle is won.
Start your new
year by making some goals to have a good outlook of your life and when you’ll
achieve them you will be proud of yourself.
There are 7
things you can do to improve your life style:
1. Pick
up a new hobby;
Go with some
hobbies that involve outdoor activity or something that would help you improve
your productivity, instead of investing in hobbies that drain out your creativity
and make you feel lazy: like playing video games and staying indoors watching
TV. Go with anything that would end up letting you learn about something.
2. Clean
the house daily;
Make this a
habit since the beginning of the New Year, clean your house daily instead of doing
it only once a week or after 3-4 days. Just commit 15 minutes daily to organize
and light cleaning your home and leave the deep cleaning for the weekend, like
furniture cleaning or organizing your wardrobe. These tasks will also help you in
the longer run, making you more organized and having a structured look on life.
3. Take
pictures, learn the art of photography;
Take a lot of
pictures this year and at the end of it make a memory wall in your bedroom or
in the living room. You could get the best photographs framed and place them
over your bed. That would give a nice and pleasant look to the room and
remembering your past year will help you with the goals too; you will realise
which are your strengths and your weaknesses, what you did right or wrong and
then you can act accordingly.
4. Give
time to yourself;
Everyday do take
time out for your own self. Whether applying a homemade beauty mask or
developing the habit of cleansing your skin daily. All it takes is 5 minutes to
make your skin glow and shine. Also try going out to the park all by yourself;
walk for a bit and admire the beauty of the nature. Sit for a while everyday
and relax by thinking about all the good things you have got in your life.
5. Join
the gym;
Instead of being
lazy and repeating yourself every morning “I need to start working out”, start actually
doing it. Don’t just think about working out, do make yourself fit this
year. Losing some pounds and having a good body shape would be a perfect goal
to achieve in 2016 and every year of your life. It is not only about good
looking but to have a healthy life style. Working out makes your skin glowing, keeps
you fit and it also relaxes your mind. So you’re not going to loose anything
from it, you will gain instead a lot of benefits, and your patience will be the
key for it to be a success, as you won’t see any results in a week or so.
6. Keep
track of your budget;
Learn the art of
saving and investing it in something that you want to add in your lifestyle. It
can be a bedroom furniture set, a sofa you wanted to buy for a long time, or a
new laptop. It can be anything, but for that you will have to keep track of your
budget and your expenses so that you can save the money and buy what you wanted
for a long time.
7. Learn
a skill;
A developed
skill stays with you for the whole life. You can join a course you wanted to do
but never got a chance to do it. It can be interior design course, learn a new
music instrument, a new language or start writing online and grow your skills
in affiliate programs which different sites offer.
Anything you do
this year remember to do it consistently and you’ll be rewarded.

Great article, and even better time for publishing it.
RispondiEliminaI used to make tons of new year resolutions until a few years ago, and when new year started, I did absolutely nothing. I guess I was overwhelmed by everything I decided to do and I didn't know where to start. Now, I do things more spontaneously.
After all, who says that you have to do everything in the first month of the new year? There is always time to improve our lifestyle
That's right! We only fix a date like the head of the new year for a mental goal, like when we say " I will start the diet on monday"... but in reality we should start everything good we're planning to do immediately instead of waiting for a fixed date...that might never come.
EliminaGreat post! I loved the idea of framing picture, it can look so pretty. Also, picking new hobby and learning new skills is something that i'm always trying to do, it's interesting and you're growing as a person :) Have a nice day x
RispondiEliminaThanks a lot! Yes, my guest blogger picked up the right things we might try out! Have a nice day too xx
EliminaErika,
RispondiEliminaThank you for this very nice post. Of all the ones you listen, none is more important than the last one. Learn new skills. And if I may, I think beyond skills, it is also growing one's self.
I have always been a huge fan of personal development and I believe it is the key to a more successful life.
Agreed 100%. We never stop learning! Thanks for your comment.
