Bread Making With Redmond Multi Cooker

Redmond is a great brand for modern kitchen appliances, using the best technologies to make your life easier.
They ship everywhere in the world!
Their signature product is the Multi Cooker, a super cool household appliance that lets you save time and money, thanks to the possibility of cooking multiple ingredients at the same time.
You just need to put everything inside it, select the right program, and wait for your meal to be ready.

The Multi Cooker cooks automatically, so you don't need to be around it. You can relax and do your things while it prepares the food for you.
You can also save money, space and energy: instead of buying multiple appliances, you only need this one as an oven, bread maker, stove, steamer, slow cooker, rice cooker, fryer and yoghurt maker.
It takes up little space and consumes 800-900W.

It comes with a 100 recipes book, all in multiple languages. You can even download the app for more and easy-to-find recipes.
It has a very nice setting, the KEEP WARM function, to keep your food hot for when you're coming home hungry after a long day working, so you don't even need to re-heat it as you normally would, you can enjoy it warm straight away.

Another great thing about a Multi Cooker is that you need less oil to cook your meals. This means an incredible drop in calories, so you can eat even ealthier.

My Multi Cooker is the RMC-151E model, valued £160, in this gorgeous black and gold color.
It is very stylish and modern and has a non-stick ceramic bowl with 5 L capacity.
It has 49 programs and comes with a deep-fry basket, a steam basket, and 4 yoghurt jars.

The recipe I'm sharing today is a delicious Wholemeal Bread.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Wholewheat flour 850g
  • Vegetable oil 40ml
  • Sugar 30g
  • Salt 10g
  • Dry yeast 6g
  • Water at room temperature 500ml

and yeast [Img 4], then whisk the ingredients tholoughly [Img 5]. Add the oil [Img 6]

and finally the flour [Img 7]. Knead the dough with your hands [Img 8] until smooth and place it into the Redmond Multi Cooker [Img 9]. Close the lid and let it rise for as many hours as you want.

I like my bread to be soft and light, so I leave it grow for at least 6 hours.
Then, I select the program BREAD, which is 3 hours and includes the complete cooking cycle, from poofing the dough to baking.

1 hour before the end of the program you need to open the lid, turn the bread over, and close the lid.
When it's ready, remove the bread from the bowl and let it cool down.

The result is this very delicious bread. Fluffy and perfect.
I really like making my own bread, just like my grandma always does.

I hope you'll try this recipe and you'll give Redmond Multi Cooker a go.
Let me tell you, now that I discovered this amazing factotum, I just don't know how I did without it so far.

  1. The shape of the loaf made me giggle for some reason - it looks more like a pillow than a loaf of bread. I have never heard of this maker before, but do love a kitchen gadget. Not sure I'd ever go back to machine bread though, now that I have perfected my hand made loaves.

  5. This look great! I'd love to be able to make my own bread, I've tried a few times and it's never gone too well so I think a bread maker would be the answer! x

  6. Mum used to have a breadmaker and I loved how the bread tasted. It was lovely with soups and wasn't like any bread (without sounding like an M&S advert) x
